Dear readers,

This is probably going to be the LAST post that I write here at MyFoxSTL.com, and for good reason.

Aside from today's schedule that has turned the Superbowl pregame into a three ring circus, the Fox News agenda has been exposed.

Last night, I went to see Barack Obama.  I was in between the stage and the press table.  The Fox 2 News crew (including that '80 hair reporter) were not too keen about seeing Senator Obama.  The were also eager to get out of the event.

Oh snap!

And while all the national networks are touting everyone except Obama, the Obama campaign continues to defy the media stereotypes.

It's been real.  I'll come back when the network stops being this bias gossip machine!

I don't blame them for not wanting to see Obama.

They should have still reported the facts though.

I'm not getting anything from the picture above. I don't think the local media coverage or lack thereof will hurt/help Obama. I think it's up to the educated voters to decide. I don't trust a man who since 2004 has missed more roll calls than any other freshman Senator in Illinois.

Why would this be your last post? Hang tough brother!

ROCK YOUR VOTE!

Hey Bushido,

During the Obama speech, we actually had two crews there. The one you've pictured was there to feed back Obama's speech for the web. He was breaking his equipment down after the speech because his job was done. The other crew not on the photographer's platform was there with a reporter to cover the speech.

Old_As_The_Superbowl....

We're not a republican, democratic, green or libertarian station. We're a St. Louis TV station and website that strives to cover all the candidates equally and fairly!

That's the truth!

That's the best you can come up with?
They're biased because they didn't shoot more handshaking?
What were they going to do- show every person Obama shook hands with at the end of the newscast?

Channel 2 had the whole thing live on the internet. How could you even think of having a problem with them. Your lack of knowledge how a TV Station operates is evident. You were very unfair and unbalanced when you posted your blog. Why didn't you do your homework before you posted.

hhmmm someones foot is in their mouth, wonder if they can pull it back out...or is it too far in?
Seriously ...if THIS is the reason you are posting your last blog then I guess that is your choice and whatever....
Now you wont be able to come back b/c you will be too embarrassed, maybe you should check your facts before accusing?

Here's a voice from someone who was there, not as a FOX 2 employee, but just because I had nothing else to do and wondered what the feel of the event would be like.
To your point, no one on the press risers left during the event--what's the point? Having covered many of these, once you're in, you're in. Sorry, no conspiracy, no right or left-leaning. That's just the way it is. If you get hungry or have to pee, you're on your own. It's the glamorous life of working in the news--being herded like cattle then having no control over your own schedule for the next couple of hours.
So once again, a FOX (local) Republican propaganda-machine theory is dashed. How long until the next one surfaces?

Fox is NOT republican!!! Far from it!!! And someone had to be the first to pack up and leave. How do you know the others didn't leave just after this picture was taken?

DavidAllen, Fox 2 did NOT have a second crew. The local CBS affilate did. If KTVI is not bias, why have they spoken to ever candidate except for Barack Obama. It wouldn't be the fact that your questions include "Are you black enough to be president?", would it? Or that your shareholders would not like the fact that you are doing business with someone they never supported. If the latter is the case, have you ever though of working as an adminstrator at Washington University of St. Louis?

Because of Coach Bill O'Reilly, I know you guys at the station got a memo to treat this incidient with stoicism and to blow anyone who says otherwise off as crazy, missinformed, or stupid.

Elliot, did you actually think that I sent this photo to a bunch of tin-foil-hat crazy people and did not recognize the consequences of distributing this image? Why should they trust a local computer geek any more than a consumer reporter who does exposes over the Swiffer mop?

Here's the real kicker folks - who cares? Do you think Fox 2 (St. Louis) can actually create the outcome for Obama? No - it's YOU - the registered voters that need to show up tomorrow and ROCK YOUR VOTE!

Evidently Bushido_Hacks knows more about Fox 2 than its own employees. This person is so smart sees all, knows all, maybe he should change his blog name to the Wizard of Oz.

Did Bushido ever hear how the DNC told the Deomcrat Candidates not to talk to Fox? They did early in 2007 is when I heard about it. The DNC is afraid to have any of the candidates answer the tough questions Fox knows how to ask to any candidate.

Bushido_Hacks how do you know if Fox did or did not ask Obama for an interview? Did Obama contact you to let you know Fox did not interview him?

Your remark to Elliot shows the _ _ _ you are. I surely would trust Elliot over you any day.

Office Memo:

We need to be sure to treat the Obama incident with stoicism. If anyone tries to convince you otherwise, you have the choice of calling them one of these: "crazy", "misinformed" or "stupid". That is all.
