PDA - (Public display of affection) has gone too far. Eureka High School has now passed a rule against this right. Any student seen hugging, kissing, or holding hands on the school campus will have there picture taken and sent home to there parents. Then they will be escorted to the office where they will be written up and receive a double detention (or more depending on the offense). This rule is simply ridiculous, you can't expect people in the High School age group to not hug, hold hands, or kiss. I belive this rule simply causes more rebellion which is what the parents and staff are most trying to avoid. Enough was enough when students were being punished in school for doing things they don't think is right at home. This whole rule came about at an event in school where two female sophomores were caught in the school bathroom "in close quarters" with eachother. In other words it is assumed that they were having sex. The two females were then suspended after threatening a teachers life who caught them. How is punishing a youth as a whole going to solve anything? No good can come of this rule. I can only hope that the media grabs ahold of this story and reveals it for the blaspemy it is. A recent poll here -->
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/21096730 <-- shows that 80% of the nation agrees with the young youth that this loss of rights has gone too far. Fox 2 news, please do your job and reveal to the rest of the public the abomination that is going on.
