I'm sure there are going to be alot of people who blast me for saying my people, the Polacks, have been just as persecuted throughout history as the blacks and the jews.

To the jews, I love you guys, I really do.  You guys were first on Hitler's list and we were second.  Actually, we were first, but Hitler figured out we weren't much of a challenge and left us till later.  But anyway, I can relate, and I do fell your pain.

To the blacks, well, I look back at your history and all I can say is, at least there was not mission to completely exterminate ya'll.  At least you were thought enough of to be kept around, though I'm not condoning slavery.  Be thankful you weren't labeled for extermination.

Actually were. When WWII the Germans invaded Poland which they cut Poland in half. My Granpa was 13 and escaped to the US before he was seperated from his family. From time to time he would recieve a letter from a sister on the Better Half of Poland that she seen our brother but you know if they happen to make any sign of acknowledgement they were killed.
So, really everyone has suffered some type or brutality in our world however we do not cheat the system for sympathy.

What seems to be forgotten to history is the Polish underground in WWII. They gave the Nazis so much trouble that a bounty was put out on them. Poland was invaded, but never truly defeated. Even when the USSR took them over they had problems. Patriotism or stubborness, you decide. When Lech Walesa came to power he managed to get the USSR to give up. Now that took brass balls!
As far as we blacks not being targeted for extermination, well, some tried, and failed.
Found out they were cheaper to own than a mule so we had some worth. But when you are cheaper to own than an animal you just replace as they die, so long term genocide I guess.
And I must say, only a small percentage of us have our hands out, they just get all the press.

I have to say, my polish friend from high school had the best family, very warm, loving, and caring of each other. Loved when Grandma came for extended visits, she would cook euthentic polish food and it was so good. Love the polish jokes they told to each other. You always left this polish house with a smile on your face.

Custody case is over. Let me self get screwed over by the lawyers so the kids have to stay with her for now. With any luck, I can get them before they start high school so I can get them back on track and not watch them become a statistic.
