Traffic
I know we all get in a hurry to get to where we are going, but some of us - you know who you are - need to stop tailgating. Tailgating the guy in front of you doesn't make him want to speed up, it just makes him (or her) angry. And for all of you that don't ride motorcycles, tailgating a motorcycle is worse. If you rear-end a car going 5 mph, the driver of that car would be fine. A rider on a motorcyle that gets rear-ended ends up in the hospital. Granted, there are some sport-bike riders that give all motorcyclists a bad name by weaving in and out of traffic, but please don't lump us all into one category. The majority of us (Harley riders) are good, hardworking professionals. Just please be more aware and don't get offended if the cyclist gives you the "slow down" sign. Which is the same sign you get from construction workers in a construction zones. It's the left hand parallel to the ground and moved up and down. I've had people (mostly women) pull up beside me and yell that they don't need me telling them how to drive. I am hear to tell you that is not my intent. Anyway, please slow down, be safe. Harley riders are not "Hells Angels". We just enjoy the wind in our hair. Thanks for listening.
