Children having children, and they aren't MORMAN.

A group of ladies was talking this morning about the high school girls having babies.

One said, "At school they all say things like, 'Oh, look at her cute little belly." Oh, they want a baby, Oh, how cute.

What a cute little thing. BUT, BUT, BUT, they don't want to take care of them. The baby in in their way, messes with their social life.

Then, most men do not want to marry someone who has children.
They say, "I don't want a ready made family, I want my own family." Their chances of a a happy marriage and family is greatly reduced, once they have a child.

BUT, what about the child, who deserves better than this.

THis is all happening in the high schools of America.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS PROBLEM?????????

I think it's a huge problem, when I was in high school a friend of mine had a baby, it was just passed on to whoever wanted her at the time.
Now as an adult a friend of mine has a 13 yr old that got pregnant at 12. I think that is so sad. It is a huge problem

We have our grandson every other weekend and 8 eights during the week. Our teenage daughter is the best aunt to this child. Having the baby in the house was fun for her at first. But she will tell you babies out of wedlock is not good for the baby and you have no life. Before we could spur of the moment do something now life has to be planned around the baby. Her friends who think it is neat to have the baby after they spend the night see it is not as much fun as they thought it was.

Remember when it was taboo to be pregnant in high school or even unmarried? Marriage and committment is taken too lightly, divorce is the easy answer for many.

I am happy the schools work with the pregnant mothers to graduate but it also made pregnancies more acceptable.

Instead of teaching abstenance (sp?) they teach safe sex. You can not tell a child not to have sex and in the same breath hand them condomns. That sends a mixed message.

Yeah, I agree with you guys. I just love the ones who get pregnant cause they just want something to love. Oh please........get a kitten or a puppy.....maybe even a teddy bear. There's NO responsibilty there!

A couple of years ago I sent a girl to the nurse who was feeling yuccko.... she went into labor a couple of hours later..... It's nothing to see a girl in High School wearing a maternity top these days..... But on the positive side it's a great reminder to the other girls of what can happen to them if they are stupid.... In the old days if a girl got pregnant she was ent away and hid from the world.....

You need a license to carry a gun, drive a car, or even catch a fish. But any fool with a working set of gonads is allowed to bring a child into this world. It just doesn't seem right.

Get pregnant and collect welfare. Let the govt take of you and all the little babies you can crank out.

Sure accidents happen, girls somehow can "forget" that sex makes babies.

But I'll bet you a million that many more get pregnant on purpose.. for the welfare.

Although I do agree that teenage pregnancy is a problem, I do feel that there are exceptions to the rule.
I became pregnant at 17. (I was taking precautions, but my precaution broke for lack of better terms). Needless to say, he left me. I worked and saved my money. I bought everything for my son myself with no help from him. I was taught that you take responsibility for your actions regardless and my son was the biggest dose of reality ever. I gave up my social life because he was more important to me.
When he was a couple months old, I met my husband. We married when my son was 4. He had no problems with me having a child and has raised him as his own. He is awesome. My son is now 6 and we have a little girl on the way.
I do not regret my life or my decision to be a mother. EVER!! I had a temp medical card for my prenatal care but as soon as I had a job with benefits, I got rid of it. I never applied for food stamps or tanf or any other assistance. I provide for my kids and it feels good to know I did it, instead of the gov't raising them for me.
I just wanted to share my experience, but I totally agree.

It was bad when I was in school year's and year's ago. But the girl's were sent out of state and brought back after the baby was born. It was taboo and humilating to the family involved. Now it is like there is no shame.

Any guy with gonad's can make a baby but they don't alway's stick around for that baby to come into the world.

Most guy's don't care that sex make's babie's. It isn't alway's the girl's fault..

These guy's should be held responsible too.

It take's two to tango but usually the girl is left on the dance floor by herself when it comes time to take care of the baby or her parent's or welfare.

I realy not know much about it I had one sister 4 yrs. older than me....Who did get pregnet at age 17..But she got married when she waws 7 months along..

I din't know she was pregnet for a long time because the was secret about it..All I was told was she was getting fat from eating too much..

My birth parents din't send he away they was mad,but she was married to the father for 8 years she had a daughter..She since had another baby a boy..Then he finaly got smart and devorced her and Thank God he got custody of both kids..

We saw both the kids almost everyday and there mother was well she liked to run around a lot..
To this day her son will introduse her like this.. This is the women who carryed me for 9 months..He never calls her mother or mom or anything..He will only refer to her as women or women who carryed me for 9 months LOL...

So I think if they keep the babys they better make darn suer they are around or thay may end up being called women or women who carryed me for 9 months...LOL

Have all the babies you want---- to just stop the welfare! Mommy AND Daddy need to pay for their children not the taxpayers! The public wlfare system in IL and MO is basically OUT OF CONTROL! If you are a freeloaders never working while having multiple babies you get EVERYTHING for free. I mean if you do not have healthcare or a job why do we pay fo rthe hospital bill? I am sked for my insurance card before they sya hello. Do they ever reimburse the system? THey should. Send them a bill again to Mommy and Daddy and after the first bill is never paid no freefree free free medical, section 8 housing, foods cards and checks. I need my money to live modestly not give it away. Second wake up of any of us taxpayers ever need medical or disability or assistance you will not get it. Or you will be denied and have to learn to fight the system. TEMPORARY assistance is just that. It is supplemental not an income! All these uneducated fatherless children are a burden all the way through the educational system. Use birth control or stay home!

I know it takes two to tango....But it's your body and only you can control what happens to it.

Dont open the door ladies if you arent wanting anyone to come in!!!! Dont put it out if you dont want someone to take it...The guy may want it but in the end its still your body.
Just say no or pay the price. Its simple.

I was a teenage mother and it was not easy at all. Obtained my GED and went to work so I could provide for my child and have health insurance. Never relied on welfare and bought my first house at 21. At 33, I've lived a very full life and I will never love anyone the way I do my son. I have often thought about talking to teens & pre-teens about the struggles of being a young mother. I certainly would not paint a pretty picture.

When I taught school, I had more than one student who was from a family with no DAD.

They hurt a lot. One little boy would raise his hand in class, no matter what subject I would be teaching and say, "I just wish I knew who my dad was."

Other times he would say, "I don't know what I will do if Grandma dies." His Mom was off somewhere in another state.

They children are the ones that suffer the most.

I agree that young men should be responsible, forced if necessary. Frankly, no matter how much responsibility we guys take, we're still getting off easy. Girls need to be taught that are ultimately responsible for pregnancy. I know it's not fair, but the laws of biology aren't always fair. It seems like young girls these days are much freer about casual sex at younger ages. They don't always realize the consequences of their actions until it's too late.

The problem lies with the states failure to cooperate with each other and the mothers of children whose 'men' run out on them, wed or unwed. My daughters husband failed to pay child support for 16 years, but the state of Florida couldn't locate him. Even though he was a liscened plumber, they had a current address,SSN, and when he went to jail for trafficking they couldn't find him there either. They were just too busy, so the state of Mo. foot the bill. That means me and you.
As in most situations there are enough laws but not enough enforcement. Mo should sue Florida but that would put a team of lawyers on holiday for 7 years.

When this happens, everyone worries about the teenage mom, "Oh, will she finish school." Her parents, "Oh, will they raise the child, "
HOw much money will she get? " Will he pay child support, or is he 14 years old"

The boys friends, "Way-to-go!!" How many kids, you got? I got two kids, "

They worry if the Mom and Dad will go to heaven, or hell. " WHat will God think???"

NO-Body say, "What about the child?? What is his/her life going to be like." Will they always feel like a mistake? They have a heart too.

We need to stop supporting this chosen lifestyle with Welfare. And we should make it illegal to be a parent as a minor.
