Just listening to the speeches,I think Obama is much smarter then Clinton.

He also has common sense. She seems to just say anything that she thinks that people will believe.

You are correct about certain levels of insanity.

Obama can be sound smarter then something really stupid comes out he has to try to explain away.

Yesterday heard about a stupid comment he made in the beginning of his campaign. Basically was saying if you don't vote for him for his politics you weren't going to vote for him anyway because you are prejudice.

Common sense and actual intelligence are totally different. I feel that my common sense level is very high while my book smarts is quite low.

Kadas is correct - Obama sounds smart at times but you have to dissect the content. Using thesarical terminology while giving speeches or doing press conferences only conveys that image.

I bet some thought Dubya "was" sharp? LOL - go figure.

When Obama speaks if you listen closely you will hear one lie after another and a whole lot of uhhhm ooooohnm well umumum, with a lot of hand jestures thrown in. He is going to make change - he sure will - there will be a lot of American soldiers to have lost their life for nothing - this man can not make a decision on his own and I feel in the end he will give our freedom away by his inexperience.

Watch, if Hillary or Obama get in office, they are going to continue the same course we are on in Iraq. The active duty Generals are going to tell them how the US can not just pull out they way the candidates have been claiming in their campaigns.

I'm not sure how intelligent anyone is who follows Rev. Wright?

Rev Wright's views and Obama saying how close he is to the Rev concerns me. I know the Rev is not running for President. I don't know about everyone else but most of the people I am close to share most of my ideas and values. That is why we became close. We have do have things that we differ on. Hillary or Obama, if I had to choose between the two, now I don't know which one if I had to pick between the two. They each concern me in different areas (and common areas).

Flaglady is correct, either Democrat will probably continue the same course in Iraq.

I personally believe that Hillary is smarter than Obama. That is just my observation.

The real question is who is more liberal. Obama wins on this question.

amom - you are obviously fooled by the sound bites that are featured by the mainstream media.

Obama is good at taking a script full of pathalogical lies and presenting them as 'off-the-cuff' remarks.

However when he does get caught out in public and is not scripted, he tends to stick his foot in his mouth every time its opened. And I won't even go into his wife........if you look closely its Teresa Heinz Kerry in disguise.

Chickenkiller: Hillary keeps forgetting things, or how they were.

Bill said that Hillary told that big story about dodging gun fire when she was tired. He said, about ll oclock at night.

We must have a President that can think clearly and see each situation clearly and correctly at any hour.

What if she thought that some country was shooting at us, when they weren't. Another war without reason. That is scary.

Amom it is scary. I think the dems are making a big mistake with these two.

To Flaglady Your last comment about a mistake, rings true to me. I believe that is why they are voting in record numbers in the primaries. I thought at first it was IRAQ, but now believe these two LIBERALS have split the party in half and that is why they are voting in record numbers.

amom - What Hillary hasn't gotten through her head as yet is that the mainstream media is no longer in the excuse-making business for her and her husband.

Ten years ago she could make foolish statements about being named after Sir Edmund Hillary or being shot at by snipers in Bosnia and gotten away with it as the press would have said nothing to the contrary.

Today they have a new 'darling' with B. Hussein Obama and they're not covering up for the Clinton's lies like they used to.

AMOM, I think you are correct. Most of the anti Obama / Clinton comments probably come from people that voted for Bush, the biggest liar and dumbest president this country has ever had to suffer through.
Obama is exceptional, but in contrast to Bush so is my dog.
