A lot of people have been talking about getting Jeff Weaver back since things aren't working for him in Seattle and ditto for Kip Wells here. While I do believe people deserve a second chance and he was great in the playoffs for us I don't like the idea of reaquiring him just so maybe somewhere down the road we can get his brother. I mean come on!!! If his brother would be interested in playing here I think the way Jeff was treated by the fans and the organization should have made a positive mark on Jared. Even he should have felt Jeff going back to the league that shelled him last season was a mistake. As far as Jeff goes his number are REALLY REALLY  bad this year. What 0-4 with a 18.27 ERA. Yikes!!! Would LaRussa,Duncan, and Jocketty take this risk again and with those horrible stats? All that said I wouldn't be surprised if they do bring him back.
