I Can't Do It! I CAN'T!

There are dishes in the sink, laundry on the floor, and dust under the table, but I simply CANNOT stay inside and do housework today.  It's like a crime to be indoors on a day like today.

 

The laundry can wait until this evening, as can those pesky dishes.  Since even my Coreopsis is popping out of the ground, I am headed up to Handyman for as much cedar mulch as I can fit in the back of the truck.

If You Had one of those old wringer type washing machines and some clothes line and Pins,,,and a set of those Galvanized tubs.....then you could do your dishes and your laundry outdoors like my mom did when I was a kid

lol about the outdoor chores. Wildflower that is funny. But it would have made doing them alot better on days like today.

i'm stuck at work, I would much rather be outside enjoying this wonderful day.. The zoo sounds good!!

Well, it was QUITE the productive day. I spread Preen all over the flower beds, then ten bags of mulch.

After that I threw around some dill and tarragon seeds in the herb garden. Then I threw a ton of grass seed around, then some fertilizer, then some bulb food, then some flowering shrub and tree food, then I watered everything while Bub jumped in the water and helped.

Then I cleaned the garage and then I made the mistake of tipping water out of the yard waste trash can. IT STUNK. I almost garfed. Then I rinsed out the driveway because it stunk.

Tomorrow will entail putting up an address plaque, getting another six bags of mulch and spreading them and maybe sticking some stuff in some planters.

You working folks missed a GREAT day!

i was outside all day yesterday and sunday and oh boy my eyes are swullen from allergies i guess, have a sinus headach today, and every muscle in my ol body is aching from mulchin and raking my sons yard, i did mine 2 weeks ago , but i lived it.

I couldn't do it either.. I put a pork butt on my grill around noon and didn't take it off until around 8 last night.. oh yeah was it juicy...I took lots of pics but i do that all the time.. My boy Jarred got his picture taking yesterday climbing a tree in our yard.. and Today he is in the Belleville News Democrat Lifestyle Section HUGE Pic of my boy.. It was a productive day.. Many People stopping by to tell my honey they hate our fence too, they can't see me anymore!

I spread more mulch and did the planters today while Bub took a nap. His allergies are getting to him, so I am ixnaying the rest of the day.

Sorry 14 that butt went on at 9 am.. I haven't even changed any of my clocks yet.. really on the slow move. It was such an amazing day. Then today, my honey has me to go to Lowes to just browse..I felt really stupid, but it fit me..I had my covertible top down, and got a new storm door hanging out of it. Keep looking for pics, that will let you know what I have been up too once this weather breaks!
