The Oscars Were Terrible

I railed on them in Roche Madden's blog, but man, they were bad.

 

I am still superpissed that CARS was robbed by Happy Feet.  What the heck?  Nobody can tell me CARS was not as good as HAPPY FEET.

 

 The interpretive dance numbers ground the show to a halt.

 

That choir blew (literally).

 
Overall, it was umpteen hours of my life I'll never get back.

 

THANKS FOR NOTHING, ACADEMY!  YOU BLOWHARDS!

 

Good Lord.

I only saw a little of the Oscars, but I liked it. Ellyn was wonderful and funny as the host, and the dancers were great and really different. I hadn't seen most of the movies in question yet -- bit unusual -- so there wasn't so much drama for me. I saw mostly the ending hour.

LOL @ mamagoose. Sharon, it was really nice in small bits. Like I said on Roche's blog, those dance bits would have made a lot more sense if they played them going into or coming out of commercial. Instead, they were just there in the middle of the show, grinding it to a halt.

I watched FOREVER and I was mad. Like I said, CARS lost, which was CRAP! CRAP I TELL YOU! And even worse, all the montages ran superlong.

I think I am grumpy.

I don't watch that stuff 14. But, I will say CARS was the best between them.

14, I swear I left a blog about this. I don't watch them, but Cars is much better than Happy Feet.

I had an awesome blog all typed last night that when I went to post it said oops! We can't find what you are looking for! And then POOF! It was gone. I figure I bored the server to death and it was probably for the best anyways.
